Hello! It’s time to bring this blog back to life.
My name is Jacob, and I’m a Team Leader with more than eight years of dev experience. After a good few year’s break from blogging, I’m coming back to share my thoughts about writing code and leading teams. I hope you will find here some valuable content no matter you are a junior, senior or lead 😉
But that’s not all!
The whole thing is associated with a holiday contest organized in one of the communities I’m part of. It’s called Firestarters: https://transparentworld.pl/firestarters/ the polish community of entrepreneurs.
Contest rules are simple:
- We have to start a new side business (sth that we didn’t do before) to the end of August
- Budget cannot exceed 1k PLN
- We describe our way on the blog once a week, and the last one should be a summing up
What I’m going to do: I’m building an online course for junior devs to help them become regulars faster. But it won’t be another course strictly connected to one of the programming languages. Of course, there will be some code examples in C#, but they will also apply to any other object-oriented language.
I also assume that everyone joining the course knows the programming basics. I’ll focus on topics like writing a clean code and thinking like seniors so you can be more like a partner to them than a newbie.
All for now! Have a nice day and see you soon! Jacob
